Lauris Amantovs Jazz Quartet

The trombone player Lauris Amantovs (1975) is a talented, creative, promising musician of the new generation. His musical backgrounds are Jazz Department of Klaipeda University ( Lithuania), master classes with the greats - Peter Herbolzheimer and Jiggs Wigham. He is also a laureate of various performing arts contests.
Moreover, he is an initiator and founder of different jazz bands - West Coast Band, Riga Cool Quintet, Mirage Jazz Orchestra, Mirage Octet and his Quartet.
The Quartet, founded in 2003, performs mainstream jazz in a highly professional manner with huge respect for a style and tradition.
